What happens if the grocery stores close due to a disaster and you haven’t stored up enough food to last until the supply lines open back up?  You can either hunt for food, or you can forage.  In most areas of the world, you’d be hard pressed to actually starve if you know how to find foods growing in the wild.  That being said, you can’t just go out and eat anything that’s growing in the great outdoors.

  What I plan to do with this section is to actually try the plants that are listed in the numerous field guides to edible plants and see what they actually taste like.  When possible, I’ll get my wife’s opinion on the taste also.
